GILIS ISLANDS

Madeftu Bali Tour - In recent years the Gili Islands have become a favourite paradise island escape from Bali. Located off the northwest coast of Lombok, these three little atols are surrounded by pure white sand beaches and clear water , with superb diving and snorkelling straight from the beach.

There is no motorised transport on the islands, just horse and carts, and they are small enough to walk around in under two hours. Gili Trawangan has accomodation ranging from backpacker homestays, to uber -chic private villas with private pool and plenty of mide range accomodation in between.

Gili Trawangan is also famous for rock’in good parties pumping into the early hours/ into sunrise, and is the most popular Island.

Gili Meno and Gili Air, on the other hand, offer a more back to basics desert island experience, being blisfully quiet with a few modest accomodations and small hotels and available lake in Gili Meno.

All three have excellent diving and a choice of highly professional dive operators.
